South Africa is party to the Hague Convention on Protection of Children and Co-operation in Respect of Inter-country Adoption (Hague Convention Adoption).

Children are between approximately 18 months to 3 years at time of placement
After your home study is approved we will assist you with the dossier preparation for South Africa. Working with South Africa’s facilitator we will guide you through the process to ensure all legal requirements are met for both BC and South Africa. It takes approximately 24- 30 months to complete the adoption in South Africa.
