Olga Iskakova, Administrative Services Manager
Olga moved to Canada from Siberia, Russia in 2002 and speaks fluent Russian. She loves the diversity and challenge of working at the Adoption Agency, where she’s always developing new skills. Outside of work Olga enjoys spending her time with her family and friends.
Amna Rathore, Administrative Assistant
Amna moved from Pakistan to Italy in 2003 and then to Canada in 2007. She enjoys working with the adoption agency because she's inspired by how her co-workers care for and support their clients. She hopes to return to school to complete a Masters in Social Work. Amna speaks fluent Urdu/Hindi and Italian.
Brie Gilbert, Administrative Assistant
Brie was inspired to work in adoption after working with youth in the foster care system who don't have a permanent home. She hopes that by helping people adopt, more kids will grow up in loving homes. Brie is fluent in French.

Our caring, professional staff and contract social workers specialize in pregnancy counselling and adoptions services. All are registered with the BC College of Social Workers.

Andrea Flanderkova, BSW, MA
Andrea loves working in adoption because of the magic when “forever connections” are made. She feels it is such an honour to be at the start of incredible adoption journeys. She is very grateful for her wonderful “team mates” at FSGV. Andrea practices and instructs Taoist Tai Chi and speaks fluent Czech.
Gurjyot Rai, BSW
Gurjyot feels privileged to be a part of FSGV adoptions team and to work with such wonderful birth parents and adoptive families. In her spare time Gurjyot likes to read and watch movies. She was born in India and can provide services in Punjabi and Hindi.
Shelley Brownell, BSW, RSW
Shelley has been passionate about adoption since adopting her son in 1995. She joined FSGV Adoption Agency in 2003 as a social work student. Her favourite moments at work are when a family meets their child for the first time. Shelley loves working with her dedicated and compassionate staff. In her spare time she enjoys hiking and knitting.
